The Stephens Family has been feeding cattle and farming for three generations. We have feed yard locations in Northwestern Kansas, specifically Grinnell and Goodland.
The cattle feeding business involves a great deal of risk and it is crucial to have an understanding of the ever-changing cattle market. Our mission is to spend time with our customers by exploring different options to provide maximum profitability and return on their investment.
The Stephens Family is also involved in farming and trucking businesses which promote fair, competitive prices for their customers from start to finish.
SERVICES
Custom Feeding & Finishing
Our main service is custom feeding and finishing cattle for our customers who come from across the nation. We have feed financing options available to all customers.
Due to our location, we are able to provide high quality and competitively priced feedstuffs to our cattle including high moisture corn, wet distillers' grains, liquid protein and automated micro nutrients which are essential for feeding cattle efficiently and increasing our customers' profitability. We work with Cattlemen's Nutrition Service to ensure that our feedstuffs are being used to their maximum potential for cattle growth.
We are also located near several major packing plants and work with the plants to provide our customers with the best options for their fat cattle sales.
Custom Livestock Hauling
Stephens Cattle, LLC
Our custom livestock hauling entity is Stephens Cattle, LLC. Stephens Cattle, LLC is a long-haul livestock trucking company that operates in all 48 states. We dispatch a fleet of trailers and have hauled cattle, hogs, and sheep. Look for our STEPHENS porch lights on the road!
